Headin' to da lake, Tahoe that is
Sorry for the bad pun, but it get hard to be clever at times.
Anyways, here's my Tahoe I picked up from Dog Breath Racing, from over at Ripper7's forums. It looked a little rough to start with, and was kinda tricky to mask and detail, but I thinks I got it pretty darn good.

Totally dig the paint job you gave that thing, it fits it to a T.
Looks great, when can we expect to see some vids? lol

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Actually, to tell you the truth, I kinda didn't like how the bigger bodies made it less monsterish. I was hoping since this was made for the Mini-Z, that it would be slightly smaller, but once I got it mounted, I realized I like the jacked up truck look, and since it is a Tahoe, and a big ol' 4 door monster of a truck, it is actually a slightly smaller scale than other 1/25th bodies. I just can't wait to get some GPM tires, to complete that jacked up truck look.betty.k wrote:i agree, i don't like the itty bitty body on the monster look. that is a waaaaay better scale to be using on that chassis. also a waaaaay better paintjob than the original!
Go for it, I don't think you guys will be disapointed. See here's why I like it. Bits=fun, but I have limited smooth surfaces to run them. Xmods, never really got into them. The best place I have to run them is on the basketball court, and I have to spend a half an hour sweeping sand off it before I can run, and then I still end breaking it before I can finish a battery. The batteries I bought with Xmod are getting ruined, because they never got run all the way down... until now. I can run this basically anywhere. It's a lot of fun in my living room, because it hooks up really good on the carpet, and just mows over any garbage that may be laying around, and it's pretty fun out front, but when I take it to the wide open outdoors the limitations of the stock motor stand out, and I want more speed, and that's the part that sucks. More speed means more money.sessiz wrote:SuperFly wrote:Cool! I'm saving my pennies for an IW04, you make it look so damn tempting.
Ditto like a mutha fucka.

Cabo, vid coming soon, real soon. That last video of my ZZ MTs would have been of this, had I got my new bodies in time.
