OK, I swear, last one...
Last body I buy for my Iwaver that is.
To recap briefly, I bought this for my Iwaver monster:

...but that was just for fun, so I had also ordered a Parma F-150 at the same time. Before I even recieved the F-150, Bird had already turned me on to Dog Breath Racing, and his bodies, so I had got this:

I thought, that's it, I've already ordered 3 bodies, and this is perfect enough, even though I thought it sat a little big on the chassis. Then no more than a week later, Dog Breath Racing came up with one of these:

Now this is pretty much perfect, exactly what I wanted. So I'm gonna try really hard not to buy any more bodies for my Iwaver.

So have you run out of silver and blue paint yet? lol
That's cool man, there's something to be said for a matching garage.

It's holding up good.Sdog wrote:Sweet shels....how's that iwaver runnin' for ya?
It's developed a problem where it occasionally goes slow and makes a funny noise in reverse. I got to take it apart and see what going on. Probably just got something in there.
...but my braced up shock stay is holding up great. I don't need no stinkin' aftermarket parts.

Killer bodies Dave. All of them. I really dig those colors too now that I've seen em on different shells. That's one of the reasons I love others pics so much, kinda like seeing it before you drop the loot ...
I just trashed my Bronco shell on the first outing....
I'm fuckin livid over that shit still.. Fuckin HPI bodies...

Ok you got me. Right after I posted this, DBR announce his Grave Digger bodies are ready to ship. Damn him, this is getting silly.HirotoR34 wrote:sure dave......sure. I have a hard time believing that one.

Hey thanks for the tip. I was already thinking I'm gonna need new gears before I'm done, but what the problem seems to be, is a loose bushing on the idler gear. I'm hoping bearings fix it.Hey dave, the usuall reverse malfunction is the ball diff and all the internal gears.. Thats something that greatly improves performance and would be a great aftermarket part for any MZ or I waver.
I feel your pain man. For what those bodies run,and by the time you get paint and decals on it, you got more than your time invested, and then one wrong move...payaso wrote:I just trashed my Bronco shell on the first outing.... I'm fuckin livid over that shit still.. Fuckin HPI bodies...
I've never wrecked one on the first run, but I've seen a few pristine bodies get ripped right in half... sucks.

Heh.. Yeah bodys ripping in half, dont remind me.. Summer last year, had my rustler in the coldesac of my old house, the reciver or TX glitched and i rammed a truck tire.. the thing split right in half, almost perfectly in the middle. It was the stock body, but i liked it somewhat.. Its in storage now with a yellow corvette body =D

Same exact story here, but with a Stampede, and a really big truck tire.backdrift wrote: the reciver or TX glitched and i rammed a truck tire.. the thing split right in half, almost perfectly in the middle. It was the stock body, but i liked it somewhat..
I jumping it on a big burm, and landing in the parking lot. It suddenly veered off one time, and kissed the hub of a semi's wheel right dead in the center.
... but that body split right in half.
