Nah, no banks were robbed. Alot of the money I get is from doing odd jobs for my grandpa at his place up north and down here. My friend Josh built a Mini-T from parts in November, and I gave him alot of stuff I swapped out in return for cash/parts. Now that he has an RC18 and sold his Mini-T, he gives me all these hopups he bought and replaced with the Losi ones I told him to get in the first place.

Don't forget, even though it looks like I never do anything, I still do sell stuff through the store. :-D

money pit is right!

the thing that shits me about 1:18's is they cost as much if not more than 1:10 stuff. i'd like to see prices sit between 1:28 and 1:10 stuff.

f'rinstance, i saw a set of kyosho oil shocks for the half8 at arseymart for $26, front or rear only! so $52 for a set of 4! BEFORE shipping!
i used to be cool

I hear ya. I seems like they should be cheaper since they use the same technology, and use less material. The electronics are the part that's difficult to make smaller, and that stuff aint priced too bad compared to the cars.

That's just Kyosho. I'm tellin' ya, while they make a quality product, they really do scam ya with the price. I've seen it before.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Yeah, Kyosho's prices are out of control. They have always overcharged for most of their stuff, IMO.

Once I realized how much I put into this thing, I told myself "not again". The problem is the start up costs seem low, $150 RTR, but then you see what needs to be changed to get it to run good, you are better off saving up $250 ang getting a XXX-T or T4 RTR.

I was about to go down that road again with the TLT. Not wanting to put any more money than I already have in it, that may be traded for a FT B4 soon.
