Superb match up there. I figured you had a dicast or a modle you were planning on stealing from when I saw the running boards. This is a friggin treat.

As for the casting... Cool, glad the thought doesn't scare you.

Beautiful, SWG. If I were you, I would just leave the top of the hood on, and not have any sides, with a faux engine showing and some headders made out of brass rod. I was going to say add flat black paint and some pinstriping for that true rat-rod look, but I really like the blue.
There's no replacement for displacment.

Man, that came together fast and it looks great. I'm in slow fuckin' motion or something... I got some sanding done and a couple of coats of primer laid down this week. You scratch-built a whole car and painted it!

Getting near compleation!! I added the headlights, real wood floor in the bed, Side Pipes some more painting....

I had chrome lights but wanted them the same color as the cab so I used Easy-Off oven cleaner to remove the chrome so I could paint them the same blue color.

DAMN, that's beautiful.

One question: where you get chrome paint?
I've heard of Cubans likin Choppers...
I've heard of Japs likin Import Tuners...
I kinda think it's possible for a white boy to like huge trucks....
But a CHINK likin AMERICAN ROYALTY?

Honestly, It's very possible.
