I always wondered why they(TOMY) can't TradeMark or Copyright the "bit char-g" name.
Different foreign laws and/or business practices maybe?

I'm sure they have trademarked and copyrighted the name and logo. Most clones come from China, and they don't care about that stuff.

Excuse my ignorance, but are these the panther chariots that were quite the ordeal in the past? If not, as clones go are these any good? I really could use a surplus of bit chassis.

No had a pistol grip, propo throttle etc. But i don't know anything about these, if there good or not. So it's taking a chance.

i would rate the standard panthers as a definite step up from the typical clone crap (bensu, charge n go, etc.) but not as good as the precious and shens/rally racers.

might be worth it though for the 35 and 40 freqs. with my luck, i'd get all 27 and 49s

I won a case lot of those same cars last year on ebay and every one of them worked fine.
