If I can get a spare ZZ chassis I'm planning on a dual cell.
I have an idea to cut holes in the bottom of the chassis so the batteries would sit lower for better CG. Make the holes the length of the battery but say half the width so they cradle in the chassis. Just like 10th scale pan cars.

i have not done this be for but it should be stupendous i just had the idea
to bad i break my zip zaps by acident the steering wires snap really easy
be care full their is no place (i have found) with where the steering wires go good luck tell me how it goes if you do the mod

cool, thanks for the warning, I'll let ya know.
I already started looking at it and saw that no matter how you move the pcb, it's tight and shits in the way.
at that point I lit up another smoke and put my thinking cap on... I think its broken though cuz I still don't have a solution I like in mind.
