It is until the end of Janaury now?
Hmm that is some good news. I already picked up two.
Got the Nissan 350z and the Acura/Honda NSX for that price. This is terrific news, which means I could actually get my cousins and some more friends to race on the track. I like it.
One last things,
Are the hop - up parts cheaper too? and when the fuck are we getting EVO's?

re:hop ups...
most have some sort of discount on them but not as much as the starter kits.
Stage 2 motor set $18 ($6 off)
suspension set $9.75 ($3.25 off)
AWD kit $15 ($5 off)
XMOD starter kits at the same price as the propo ZZ's is a GREAT price! I picked up a second starter kit (the Acura NSX) and some hop-ups (including crystals).

I was talking to a young worker at one of the source shops near my house. Actually in the local mall, Vaughan mills, its huge.
Anyhow, he explained to me that when Radioshack left Canada, alot of the
"unwanted" merchandise was pretty much left behind. The way he explained it was "wtf are we suppose to do with all these left over shits?"
I started laughing and then he explained to me that theSource, actually has them on sale, or a lower price to get the fuck rid of them, because I believe most of what they are making off of em still go to RS.
Was'nt to clear on his exact explaination, but original xmods should never have been priced at 69.99 Canadian, With thier price at 39.99 now, it seems about right for what they are worth if you ask me.
The discount on the parts is beauty though.

Vaughan Mills is home to your local circuit City huh? Wonder if I've run into you the few times I've been there. Haven't been to either of my local ones (Newmarket) since just after x-mas. Betty.k makes a convincing arguement for the MR02's so I ordered one. And with that I've got no real need to get any more x-mods...I run my MR01 way more anyway.

Just got into the Mini Z as well. The gen 1 has already taken rest. I literally ran it once on the track for my video and put it back in the box, it is practically brand new lol. I did not even open up the AWD kit, or suspension/steering kit. It was fun, now my brother is getting an 02 iwaver so it is war. lol
Newmarket aint that far from me. Vaughan mills is shit, practically everything is overpriced, but the source isn't that bad.
i just wonder how long it is gonna take from the Gen1s to be cleared out and see what they replace em with...
BTW Canabits, did you ever see the CustomRydez? They are suppose to compete with Xmods, but come AWD, and have a shit load of upgrades too. I have driven one and I must say I like the torque on em better.
