F150 (take 3)
F150 take 1...

...F150 take 2...

... and now F150 take3.

This was something I had in my head. Decided to try it on the ol' F150. It was pretty simple, only had a couple issues, mostly the clear coat laying funky on the windows, but I can easily rub that out later. While I was at it I shaved the mirrors, door handles, tail gate latch, and rear emblem.
I think it came out good, I'm satisfied. I think maybe this time I'll leave it.

The same kind of laquer that I painted over, and that was on the rest the body. Duplicolor. Why it reacted with only the windows I do not know. Paint can be very mysterious sometimes.HirotoR34 wrote:super clean CD! I'm a sucka for flames, but that truck is slammin. It's weird that the windows came out like that. What kind of clearcoat do you use?
SWG, I think those wheels come with the upgrade kit (which is dirt cheap right now)

SWG, he is correct, they are from that last RS wheel upgrade set.

Great color combo, Red and White has always been a favorite of mine.
But the thing I like about your color choices is the unique greyish dividing the two colors. It makes a nice little addition.
When you spray it CD, What are you doing first? The red, white or grey? I've always had a problem trying that out so I just stick to one color and then hand paint the rest and it is just too hard to stay consistant.

That greyish color is straight up gold. Not sure why you're seeing it as greyish.MafiaS wrote:But the thing I like about your color choices is the unique greyish dividing the two colors. It makes a nice little addition.

As a general rule, lightest colors go on first, which was the case here, white, gold, then red. When you spray it CD, What are you doing first? The red, white or grey? So the grey is the 'top colour" then the gold. So spray on the grey, mask, spray on the gold, mask, then throw on the red. At least that's how I'd do it

I'm digging the color of purple you used dude.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
