1:144 scale WWII Tanks
Found these for a 1.97 each at walmart.
Not sure what to do with them yet..but they are downright cool.
body seems hollow and the turret is poseable.
(dont look at my hand, fingers are all clawed and nasty)
from left to right, Sherman, Panther, BullPup, Tiger, KingTiger

Couple years ago I saw an article in a science magazine about someone who made some robots that were about the total size of an iRacer. The board was about Bit size, they used same battery as bit, same size tiny motors... The only reason I'm even bringing this up is they made them tank-steer (1 motor at front of chassis, 1 motor at rear powering the other tread) and used tiny rubberbands for the treads.
I'm sure that with some searching, and very minor wheelbase alterations if needed that a tread option wouldn't be impossible.

Jack of all trades, master of none; yet often better than master of one.
