are these true about the PiccoZ?
LiPo battery included for long flight times.
2 Channel transmitter with infrared transmission (digital proportional)
Led Light to see it even inthe dark!
I ordered mine from Rat Shack today but it did not give much info about it?
No guns huh how about a bomb?

Well all I can say is OMG! This is the fastest shipment I think I have ever gotten!
I ordered my PicooZ yesterday a little past 3:00 PM and today at about 10:00 AM the Fed-EX Ground guy was at my door? Is it just me or is that fast!
I have the little "Toy Wonder" on the Charger now and should be up in the air soon I hope its all that and a box of Crackers!
THanks for the Hook up Guys!

They are super cool, though their longevity is suspect.
I just exchanged my first one for a new one, as I developed a trim problem. Couldn't get it to stop spinning counter-clockwise. Even with full-right stick I could only slow the rotation down. I suspect somehow my tail rotor either wasn't getting enough juice or the little motor back there got damaged. I think my new one will last a lot longer because I got the learnin' out of my system and know how to fly it now.
I do need to read up on the care and feeding of lipos, and figure out a way to make a stand-alone charger.

from memory i think there are plans/curcuit diagrams for a lipo charger but for peace of mind you're better off buying a proper charger.

No pots anywere in the tx, and they used the same method as the xmod controller, cant remember the term for it... too cheap for a ic with an a/d converter
As far as a standalone charger, just put a plug in the tx so that you can power it from the wall.
For the lipo, just give it 10-15 minutes rest after the run and before the charge like the manual says.
The tail prop may have had the tinyest bit of hair/fluff/dust.. its a 4mm motor, very little torque obviously.

Wait till you fly it at night. Last night it was real calm so I took it outside to fly. With the blue strobe everyone thuoght the police was there. I got it up to about 25 feet at a hover. Just to remember to keep the controller pointed at the heli. It was my second flight and I'm starting to get the hang off the controls. Just be sure to land the beast before the battery dies, it drops like a rock

Well waiting for my new one becuse I think the tail motor is going to be the week link on this copter. I flew mine for a while and loved it then when I flew it agian it just spun and the tail motor would not work? I called Rat Shack and had to buy a new one they would not exchange but they are sending me a ticket to send the broken one back. The guy at Rat Shack was such a Dick I almost drove to Fort Worth and beat the Shit out of him!SuperFly wrote:They are super cool, though their longevity is suspect.

As for the Heli I think its cool and definatly worth the money (not the crap I went through to return it). Like Fly Said I think I will get better at taking care of it and flying it this second time as I know what not to do.
We will see...
